AIFS Study Abroad in Florence, Italy: Fashion Marketing and Merchandising Semester

Earn up to 16 credits through a variety of courses when you study with AIFS in Florence, Italy. This program combines Florence's long history in the field of fashion and luxury goods and specialized coursework to give students interested in a career in fashion a unique academic experience. Students take a 3-credit language course plus 4 mandatory fashion related courses. A further 1 credit is available by taking the optional Introduction to Italian Art course. AIFS in Florence includes a one-week orientation in Rome before the semester begins so students can acclimate themselves to Italian language and culture. You may choose to live in a homestay or a shared student apartment and enjoy activities such as guided city walks, visits to the many museums, churches and cultural sites of Florence, Italian cooking classes, opera and ballet performances, Italian cheese tastings, a gelato tour, and day trips to Pisa, Lucca, the Vespa Factory and more. AIFS in Florence includes a 4-day trip to Rome and a day trip to Siena.
