Program Description:

Study Abroad in Barcelona

This versatile program is designed for students who want to focus on business, design, and innovation through a practical approach. Visit local companies, meet Spanish entrepreneurs, and choose marketing and entrepreneurship courses at our partner, the University of Vic – Central University of Catalonia (UVic-UCC), and round out your experience by choosing from a wide range of elective and core courses at the CEA Barcelona Center. Courses are taught in English, but Spanish language courses are available for every level of ability. You may also enroll in the optional Global Career Development Seminar, an ideal way to focus on future career success.

Where You'll Study

Students take classes at the CEA Barcelona Center and the University of Vic -  Central University of Catalonia. The CEA Barcelona Center, located on the Plaza Catalunya in the heart of the city, offers courses in a range of subjects, taught in English and Spanish. Learning takes place both in and out of the classroom, with instructors taking full advantage of Barcelona’s many notable sites and attractions. The University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia, an independent, state-supported institution, is known for its commitment to the region’s economic and social development, as well as a focus on multi-lingual training. Students will receive a transcript from the University of New Haven, CEA’s School of Record, and the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia upon completion of their program.
