Navigate today’s globalized world with greater sophistication, thanks to courses taught from a range of perspectives. Hone your critical thinking skills as you analyze the intersections of the local and the global. Multi- and interdisciplinary course offerings in anthropology, communication, gender studies, history, journalism, and political science provide you with practical tools to interpret and apply significant meaning to your own experiences abroad, as well as a comparative perspective to life back home. Your studies abroad will encourage you to develop the international cultural fluency you need to communicate and function effectively in an increasingly globalized world.

The CEA Florence Center offers a variety of courses that allow you to explore all that Florence has to offer, with your professors as guides. Classes are small, taught in English, and take full advantage of the city just beyond our doors. Experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom are plentiful and bring lessons to life, exposing you to new perspectives and starting you on your journey toward global citizenship. Students will receive a transcript from the University of New Haven, CEA’s School of Record, upon completion of their program.
CEA has several ways to help you fund your program, including scholarships, grants, and vouchers. Find out more about what we have to offer.
